Welcome to GeoMEast 2018 International Congress and Exhibition

[#GeoMEast2018] has come to a close and is marked with a Great Success!

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to thank all participants for their important contributions to the 2nd GeoMEast2018 International Congress and Exhibition [under the theme of: Sustainable Civil Infrastructures], which was held from November 24th to 28th, 2018 in Giza, Egypt at Marriott Mena House hotel, in front of the Great Pyramids!

Within the conference days, we welcomed over 900 experts from 71 country representing the globe, and the exhibition has been held with the participation of 30 company from 20 country. The GeoMEast2018 was launched by official speeches of the Egyptian Minister of Transport and the Vice-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on behalf of the Egyptian Prime Minister.

The response to our call-for-abstracts was extremely successful with receiving more than 800 abstracts, 570 draft full-papers, and over 300 accepted papers published in 16 Edited Volumes with Springer in SUCI book series.

GeoMEast organized 5 official lectures delivered by the current Presidents of ASCE, CSCE and ISSMGE, the former President of IGS, and the General Manager of GMA-IFAI. GeoMEast organized 40 Main Lectures and 12 Workshops/Courses delivered by a group of well-known global experts in our profession. Over 250 presentations have been delivered during the GeoMEast2018, which represents the strength of the technical program.

We didn't want this festival to be finished, but this is the life that must make every wonderful time ends very quickly. I hope you have enjoyed the GeoMEast2018 and its social activities. Also, I hope you will give us another chance to welcoming you again to Egypt, in Cairo this time, for #GeoMEast2019 during the period of 10-14 November 2019!
